You drive down the street, and pass a dirty-looking old man on the sidewalk, holding a sign. "Homeless," it reads, and you wonder how he got that way. Christmas rolls around again, and you get people knocking on your door, asking for small donations of food or clothing to go towards someone in need who may live locally.
Look around you. What kinds of things are you surrounded by? You are probably sitting at a desk with a computer, perhaps in the comfort of your own home. There, you will find couches and pillows, maybe a kitchen with a refrigerator.
The act of donating a car is very noble. It is definitely appreciated. Many items are donated to the needy everyday.
